I'm Sarah

A writer and speaker who believes you can

live a deeper, richer life after any ordeal

An Australian with a love for adventure and people, I’m proud to have created a community that touches thousands around the world.

Through my books and speaking, I help people like you live a richer, deeper life after any ordeal.

One of the things I’m often asked is

“How did this happen?”

From an early age, I’ve been curious about living life to the fullest. I wanted to know, what was my potential? What was beyond my current horizon? What are my greatest challenges and how do I overcome them?

I was passionate about pursuing things that scared me: hiking jungles, swimming ocean marathons, running my own consulting business, culminating in representing Australia at the World Triathlon Age Group Championships. Nothing could get in my way for my pusute of life’s edge.

After a decade of expansion, my trajectory stopped, abruptly. I raced a triathlon, when I crossed the finish line my brain shutdown. I acquired a brain injury and later developed Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME).

I later renamed myself “Sarah 2.0” because I can’t (and won’t) ever be the person I was before.

From the initial diagnosis of “mental health”, to the rabbit warren of the hospital psych ward, to the confusion of an enigma for over two years and being unable to communicate with the medical professionals, to writing a blog read by 1,000’s, to publishing a book, I’m proof that not matter the outlook there is always a way.

I believe we can only control what we can control and the rest is fate.
